Here’s a long-lost interview with Pepe Romero, which I recorded a long time ago (2003), but never released until now.

He was in Austin for a concert, and came by to do a live interview on KMFA Classical 89.5 radio. I used to produce the Classical Guitar Alive! radio program there (Now I have my own studio), and I was there doing some production work.

Pepe had some free time before his live on-air interview, so we did a totally impromptu interview while he waited to go on air. It was an unexpected opportunity, so we ended up talking for about 15 minutes about his amazing collection of rare and valuable classical guitars.
